Rockstar Game Titles Leaked for Xbox's XCloud Servis
It appears that two Rockstar Game titles will be coming to Xbox's XCloud servis in the near future. For those who aren't already aware, XCloud is Xbox's cloud streaming servis. It allows players to play various Xbox game on any piranti, such as their phones. This even allows players to stream game to their console whether it be an Xbox Seri X games to an Xbox One or just streaming a games that otherwise takes up a lot of ruang on the sistem. It's an incredibly innovative usage of cloud technology, albeit not the first nor the only one operating today. The likes of Amazon Luna and Google Stadia offer similar fiturs, but only one has the Xbox ecosystem which gives it a significant advantage for a number of reasons.
With that said, only a select amount of game are actually available for XCloud, but it seems some of the biggest game of all-time are about to gabung the servis. Penggemar noticed that Rockstar Game up-dated its dukungan pages to catatan that Xbox cloud serviss were operational for Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2, suggesting both game would be coming to XCloud very soon. Of course, things like this have happened before by mistake. It was once believed Call of Duty was coming to Nintendo Switch due to an error on a dukungan page. However, the leaks go a tahap further as one fan noticed that Grand Theft Auto V was listed an XCloud judul on the Xbox Toko, which means two different official sources are listing the games for the servis.
Of course, nothing has been announced quite yet, but it would be a heck of a coincidence if this was just one big error. If it does prove to be true, this will be a major win for XCloud. These are some of the biggest, most played game out there and to be able to have them readily available on the go would be huge. Only time will tell if it actually happens, though.
EA is once again saying something controversial and this time, it's claiming FIFA players love FUT Packs, the game's loot boxes. For many years, loot boxes have been a bit of a plague on the gaming industry. Some of them are harmless, but a lot of them can create problems. They became such a masalah that it created major backlash in a number of game like Call of Duty, leading to major franchises embracing other monetization taktikes like battle passes which have been received in a much better way. With that said, sports franchises still have loot boxes because they make tons of money and are a major part of how these titles function. There's no better example of this than FIFA, which allows you to buy and earn card packs that give you acak players and other goodies.
EA is defending FUT Packs and claiming players love them in a new pernyataan to Eurogamer. The pernyataan comes after the UK ruled that it would not regulate loot boxes, something that is being considered in other European countries and has even been banned in Belgium, noting that it was a form of gambling. Nevertheless, EA is doubling down on FUT Packs in countries where it is permitted, but noted that it doesn't "encourage spending over earning rewards" and the choice to buy them is optional.
"We wholeheartedly believe that Ultimate Tim and FUT Packs, which have been part of the games for more than a decade, are a part of FIFA that players love - penggemar love that the games reflects the real-world excitement and strategy of building and managing a squad," said EA. "Giving players the choice to spend if they want to is fair. It's worth saying that spending is entirely optional in our games, and we do not encourage spending over earning rewards through games play. FUT Packs work in just the same way whether they are paid for or earned, and most players don't spend in games at all. For example, nine out of 10 FUT Packs opened in FIFA 22 were earned."
Given there is an entire jenis of videos of people opening FUT Packs on YouTube, there probably are people that do love them. Nevertheless, it is an interesting pernyataan given how controversial loot boxes have been for gaming. The fact that governments are considering regulating them shows there's definitely a stigma about them.
